When the valve is closed, the mixed gas will rebound when it is blocked, and vibration frequency will be generated repeatedly. If the intake manifold is short, the frequency will obviously be faster; if the intake manifold is long, the frequency will become relatively slow. If the oscillation frequency of the mixture in the intake manifold resonates with the opening time of the intake valve, then the intake efficiency at this time is obviously very high. Therefore, the variable intake manifold can provide optimal air distribution when the engine is running at high speed and low speed.
